The io-homecontrol^® solution has been developed to be as secure as the communications between a cash dispenser and a bank – and is even simpler to configure. When first used, the appliance and remote control exchange a unique encrypted key. This is associated with a random number sent by the building product, to generate a unique command. Each product is automatically registered during installation.

So each time you request a function such as opening or closing a window, it is a unique encoded signal that is never repeated. No one can intercept and learn the code, as it changes every time!
