Lifestyle functions have been developed to make daily tasks easier, often combining two or more functions. These can be activated by pushing just one button on the control. New lifestyle functions that are developed will work on all appliances currently being sold. So there will be no need to upgrade the appliance, only the control. This is another example of the versatile nature of io-homecontrol^®.

Good morning

The house feels more welcoming now when I wake up. The roller shutters in my bedroom are slightly opened, while those in the kitchen and bathroom open fully to let all the light in. Meanwhile, the kitchen and the bathroom are being heated.
Alternatively, all the shutters open and my bedroom gets ventilated for a short time.

Good night

To make sure I forget nothing before going to bed, I set up all the ground floor windows to close automatically and the lights are turned off. Plus, the garage and entrance doors are locked and the perimetric alarm activated.
Alternatively, the bedroom blinds and windows are closed automatically – along with the lights and TV after 30 minutes.

Cosy

In winter, it’s nice to enjoy a little privacy without having to close all the blinds. So the roller shutters are closed or Venetian blinds are tilted for better privacy.

Party

It’s nice to welcome guests into a freshly aired house that is nonetheless comfortable. So the living room and kitchen are ventilated and the lights slightly dimmed. The energy saving heating is also cancelled for the evening.

Goodbye

Stepping out for a few hours is easy, as I can ask for all the windows to be closed and all the lights turned off. I can also ask for all the heaters to be reduced and the entrance and garage door to be locked.

Welcome Home

It’s nice to get home and discover that the kitchen and living room have been heated, or that the door is unlocked and the lights in the hall are already lit.

Holiday

When going on holiday, I can be sure that the house is not being heated and that all the doors, rollers and windows are locked. If necessary, I can leave the roof shutter open so the plants get some light. I can also simulate that someone is in the house, by having lights come on and shutters open or close. So I can feel reassured when away.

Cleaning

When dusting and cleaning, nothing beats working in full light and fresh air. The Clean button turns on all the lights and opens the shutters or blinds. The rooms can be ventilated for 30 minutes. The Clean button blocks any Smart functions while it is being used.

Home theatre

The evening is our favourite movie time. So with one click I can dim all the lights, tilt the Venetian blinds, roll down the projections screen and turn on the audio/video system. Easy.
